Gilgandra Preschool have therapy programs in place to assist children to increase their skills with the focus on closing any gaps which may present and could affect their participation at school.  These programs are provided at no cost to families and able to be provided through specific funding which Gilgandra Preschool receives with program operation being assessed annually in line with funding.  

Our programs are designed to support children who present with minor challenges to progress in their time at Preschool so they can enter school with solid foundations for learning.  On occasion, children may require additional intervention which cannot be provided within the Preschool program, and families may receive recommendations from therapists or staff to access outside services for their child to assist in the continued progress of their child’s skills.  The Preschool can guide and support families through what services to access and where required assist in referral processes. 

Contracted therapists work alongside our program facilitators and staff to develop the programs.
